Meet Nobbe — A 2-Year-Old Sweetheart Ready for Her Forever Home
Nobbe is a gentle girl who has come a long way from the shy, quiet pup we met on her first day at the rescue. She reminded us of a timid little schoolgirl on her first day, unsure of her surroundings and overwhelmed by the unfamiliar. It’s no surprise, considering she spent the first two years of her life in a backyard with two other dogs, with little exposure to the world around her.

But every day, we see Nobbe blossom a little more. Though she was initially overwhelmed by all the new sights, sounds, and smells at the rescue, she’s quickly learning that she’s safe, loved, and surrounded by people who are rooting for her every step of the way.

She craves affection and loves being close to her humans.  We believe she’ll be a true Velcro dog, following you from room to room, happy just to be by your side. Nobbe is incredibly sweet and friendly, and so far, we’ve seen no signs of reactivity toward other dogs.

Nobbe is looking for an understanding and patient family who can gently guide her as she learns what it means to be a cherished member of a loving home. She may need time and reassurance as she adjusts, but with compassion and consistency, Nobbe has so much potential to blossom. We can’t wait to see her thrive in a warm, nurturing environment where she feels safe, accepted and truly loved.
