BASIC CARE

All boxers surrendered to our care are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian to determine general health and detect any outstanding medical conditions and/or needs. They are vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested (and treated if necessary) and placed on preventative. All are spayed/neutered as soon as they are considered capable of tolerating anesthesia.

Rescued boxers are housed in our boarding facility in Ringwood, IL where they receive the best care we can provide, including clean bedding, toys, and quality food. We do not use foster homes.

BEYOND BASIC CARE

All too often, extraordinary measures are necessary to save a dog’s life and/or restore its health. In each case, the dog’s age, chances of recovery, and potential to enjoy a reasonably normal life are taken into account before proceeding
